SACVLC 2020 its a colloquium dedicated to research and development in the industry and among academics regarding visible light communications. The development of this kind of technology is not only based on lightning, but also on the communication of data, the localization and detection operated by unlicensed bands. However, the generalized deployment of visible light communications has not taken place and nowadays it faces a number of challenges such as its integration with existing network, LED with switching functions, protocols, weather effects on the regulation of the environment security and diverging performance.
In 2017 was the First Southamerican Colloquium on Visible Light Communications, that took place in the Auditorium of Fundación Telefónica, also featured an exhibition of 14 papers by 14 exhibitors, among graduates, as well as researchers from Serbia, United Kingdom and Argentina. This instance had four master classes to introduce and explore the state of the art of VLC in the world.
All the articles of the Second South American Colloquium on Visible Light Communications will be published in the SCOPUS and IEEE Xplore Digital database as well as 2017.
